You Are Perfect

Updated on November 5, 2010

99 cents could change your life DRAMATICALLY for the better!

Remember your first thought looking at "You are Perfect".

Or take just a moment to let go of all other thoughts and be aware of your immediate reaction - whatever comes to your mind when I tell you that:

YOU ARE PERFECT JUST AS YOU ARE AT THIS VERY MOMENT

Jot it down because whatever it was - - - is also perfect.

We hear in many different ways the idea that "What goes around, comes around."

Sometimes we believe that means whatever actions we put out there, will come back. If however, we take a look at James Allen's profound expression: "As a man thinketh, so is he" or "thoughts are things", we come to realize that its not merely the actions that come back, but also, the manifestations of our thoughts.

subconscious - our Genies will grant our every thought- positive OR negative

You are right! And it is true... we make it happen
You are right! And it is true... we make it happen

I heard once that our subconscious minds are like our own personal success genies. They are there to make us right. However we direct them, particularly if there is emotion attached, they in effect fold their arms, nod their heads and make it come true.

For example, if we think "I can't pay the bills this month" - our genie says, "You're right" and it is true... we make it happen.

If we say, "I'm going to be nervous" - "You're right" and it is true... we make it happen.

Without our auto pilot process, we'd have to re-learn absolutely everything, every time.
Without our auto pilot process, we'd have to re-learn absolutely everything, every time.

The reason 'particularly with emotion' is so important is because not only is 'e-motion' our energy in motion, our subconscious minds incorporate all of our memories, programs, emotional connections and creativity.

Programs are the auto-pilot type thoughts. Being on 'auto' may get us in trouble occasionally. Without the conscious effort of replacing some programs/beliefs that aren't working for us, our genies will grant those thoughts as quickly as an unbiased bystander will. Programs can be wonderful too though. Without them, we would have to re-learn how to tie our shoes every single time.

Can you imagine driving having to re-learn that skill every time? It would be amazing if anyone made it home alive!

Holding on to anything emotionally will re-create it in our lives.
Holding on to anything emotionally will re-create it in our lives.

When we put this altogether, we become aware (sometimes painfully so) that whatever we think, feel, believe or hang onto memory wise, we 'put out there' so to speak. Whatever that is, we then create at any given moment and it becomes our reality.

Whatever we believe, we therefore perceive in our lives.

Sometimes, reflections may be easier to see than what we thought was real...
Sometimes, reflections may be easier to see than what we thought was real...
What do you see?
What do you see?

Life and our circumstances are really then, a perfect mirror.

Our relationships are perfect mirrors. For example, if we point a finger at someone else and perceive them to be a certain way, we can see that there are 3 fingers pointing back at us. That awareness can be a lesson for us to recognize our own thoughts, beliefs and perceptions.

If we don't like them or something they do, it can give us a deeper understanding of ourselves. What is it we may not have dealt with in ourselves?

You are as happy with others as you are with yourself is another way it's been said.

Don't sit still. Changing programs that may not be working for you will bring all the rewards you hope to achieve

Some seminars I volunteered at were geared towards breaking through any 'programs'. The first 3 days were solely designed to push every single emotional button or program the attendees had. As guides, our job was to offer support by helping them become aware of something that may have needed looking at.

We would light fires under their seats (in our imagination) to help them pop up if that particular program seemed to be holding them back.

After awhile, it was like witnessing the programs themselves popping up with their own voices. There was no judgment or person attached and we could feel the programs lined up in a row - like a list of perceptions.

As we went down the list we ourselves understood which ones we personally still felt an emotional attachment to (which of course meant we hadn't dealt with it).

For example JEALOUSY would pop up and we'd think "check, I've dealt with that one - I feel nothing".

Or I DON'T FEEL GOOD ENOUGH would pop us and - "OOPS, that one still has emotions attached, I have to become more aware of when I put that out there" etc.

I recommend taking a moment to jot down a few scenarios you still have a heap of emotions about because...

PERFECTION CAN BE: THE PROCESS OF AWARENESS

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE BENEFITS OF LETTING GO OF FEELING YOU HAVE TO BE PERFECT?

With awareness, the process is ever in motion, striving to let go of whatever gets in our way of mindfulness in this exact moment.

When we let go and stop crucifying ourselves between 2 thieves - the regret of yesterday and the fear of tomorrow, we can truly see what's reflected in the mirror of every moment.

With that awareness -

every moment is perfect and therefore, so are we.

All too often we resist change because

we assume change means that "we're not OK".

When we trust the process of awareness and change,

we see that ALL IS PERFECT.

DIVINE RIGHT ACTION IS ALWAYS TAKING PLACE

Relax & ponder your reflections for just a moment - it is a beautiful world

As mirrors of my own awareness,

I thank you for being you!

You are perfect

just as you are at this very moment...
